‘Significant’ damage in DeLand after possible tornado rolls through area, officials say

Officials said the “extensive damage” is mostly contained to north DeLand, north of Plymouth Avenue and east and west of North Woodland Boulevard. They are asking locals to avoid the area as responders work to clear downed power lines and trees.
